Helping, fixing and serving represent three different ways of seeing life. When you help, you see life as weak. When you fix, you see life as broken. When you serve, you see life as whole. Fixing and helping may be the work of the ego, and service the work of the soul.”

About Us

Hapa Resources was registered in 2016 as a social initiative with Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) and engages in community development work in the areas of; Community Health, and Education.

We partner locally on community-led projects that provide comprehensive approaches to social challenges within low-resource settings in Uganda and in doing so, we strive at establishing partnerships aimed at engaging in development initiatives that have direct linkages to:

  • Public Health Education and Promotion;
  • Capacity Building for Health; and
  • Community Empowerment

Our Mission

To engage in collaborations that inspire, empower, and connect people to community-driven sustainable initiatives directed towards livelihood development and empowerment.

Our Values

Accountability: We hold ourselves responsible for ensuring our work yields positive impact, and we do what we say we will do.

Commitment: We are deeply committed to connecting communities through initiatives that allow their voices to guide our work in delivering social good.

Truth: We believe in working honestly with integrity, partnering for the right reasons, and treating people fairly with mutual respect.

Four elements are critical to our program strategies.

Evidence guides project development: We gather information that helps build evidence and guides us in overall project development processes.

Community participation: Active community participation in analyzing need, setting priorities, planning intervention activities, and making decisions to address identified challenges.

Engagement in implementation: Community develops comprehensive strategies for lasting change and is an active partner in implementing projects designed to address identified challenges.

Evaluation: For feedback and program improvement.

We need your support

MAKE A DONATION

Help us raise funds to revitalize an initiative intended to set up a community patient transport and emergency response service in Kampala.

We are asking for your help because we decided to revitalize a community project that was affected by the global Covid 19 pandemic. We want to revamp a community EMS project in Kawempe Municipality so as to deliver emergency ambulance and patient transport services along with capacity building for EMS within 4 partner hospitals.

In order to realize the project, we will work with World Medical Relief under its Ambulance Acquisition Program to secure two ambulances along with an assortment of resources needed to implement the project. In order to accomplish this, we need your support to raise US. $ 80,000 so as buy the ambulances and undertake all logistical operations to get them to an inland port in Kampala. We are counting on people like you to see us through and believe that it will be possible to accomplish this noble undertaking – a dollar at a time.
